How To Wear Leopard Print This Fall
Until this year, I've had a strange aversion to leopard print. I used to think it was just a little too bold (and kind of cougar-esque). This season, however, I've been seeing it take over fall fashion, and I figured there's no better time to try it. I kind of went from zero to sixty on this one, and bought the fluffiest, most extra leopard print coat I could possibly find (and it was honestly quite the steal). I'm totally in love with it, of course, and I'm planning on bringing it with me to NYC this winter (it's going to be my first time there, and I'm totally excited)!
Because leopard is such a bold print, however, it's important to let it do all the talking. I matched it with some blacks and neutrals above. I've been loving berets lately - I practically wear this black one with everything these days- and I think it made the outfit look just a little more classic. With enormous furry coats, I love the idea of wearing something very slimming or dainty underneath, like a silk dress or, more casually, skinny jeans. It's a chic juxtaposition between bold and boxy, and form-fitting and sleek.
Another trend I absolutely adore in leopard print pumps. I bought leopard print boots a few weeks ago, and I love wearing them casually, but it's just not the same! A leopard heel with skinny jeans and a chunky sweater is one of my all-time favorite looks right now. I was in Chicago this last weekend and took to the Louboutin store to splurge on these stunners.
Hoping you all are having a fabulous fall so far! As always, you can shop this look below!
