NYE in NYC
I've been in New York City this last week, and I've never seen more sparkly things in my life. After half a day of shopping on Fifth Avenue, I was deciding between about five different shimmery and sequined pieces. I landed on the silver one above because it fits amazingly and is a party piece that I can rewear for years to come. The sleeves are also a total bonus, since New Years Eve weirdly calls for revealing cocktail dresses and 30º temperatures.
The pink coat I'm wearing was a gift from Forrest. It was the first thing I saw when I walked into TopShop, so I'm so grateful it's now another piece in my pink coat collection (I seriously need to invest in a couple neutral jackets)... I love double-breasted pieces; they're so regal looking to me. I'm also loving the light pink fur around the collar - how cute!
My shoes are Jimmy Choo, an NYC gift to myself. I've had a long love affair with Louboutins, but after receiving some Jimmy Choo boots a few weeks ago as a gift, I was awestruck by how comfortable they are, and I decided to branch out and try a new designer heel for a change. I walked all over the city in these 4" suede pumps, and aside from a first day of breaking them in, they're the most comfortable heels I've ever owned. They go with everything, too, so they're a great investment piece to consider, if you're looking for a stunner shoe this holiday season.
I'm linking a few other glitzy dress favorites below, as well as my full outfit details!
