Rent the Runway: What's So Hush-Hush About Borrowing, Anyway?
At a certain point, the process of starting a blog can become pretty expensive. While it is a personal and calculated decision, buying a new dress for a Friday night date or an afternoon photo shoot certainly wears down your wallet! That’s why I’ve recently been using Rent the Runway to support my “unreasonably expensive taste, especially for a college student,” as my mother so lovingly puts it.
Last week, I had my first pieces shipped to me via the online service, and I was delighted! I ordered a black leather Kaufmanfranco jacket, an asymmetrical leather dress by Theia, and a matching tote by Clare V. Perfect quality, perfect fit, and no more dents in the bank account! I try to cycle out RTR looks every week now, and I couldn’t be more pleased! To accessorize, I donned Francesca's earrings and a vintage leopard purse (s/o to my grandma).
Side Note: This look was shot at a quaint little park in Central Austin, and halfway through, I decided to change outfits. Found myself changing out of $3,000 couture in a park porta-potty (lol)! Such are the woes of blogging!
