The Spring Sheath
Frankly, I’ve never been a huge fan of tight dresses. I like being able to feel a fabric move, and I’ll usually refuse to buy a dress unless it twirls “the right way” (whatever that means). I recently tried out this sheath dress, however, and it was quite the game changer.
I was initially drawn to this piece for the color. Pale blue is one of my favorite shades, and it was perfect for a baby shower I attended over Easter weekend. It was a bit big on me (strapless is typically a dangerous game for girls my size), but not noticeably so. The tight waist and pencil cut actually looked quite elegant. I enjoyed that the dress wasn’t necessarily skin-tight, but at the same time, was form-flattering around the legs. With wedding season just around the corner, I’d highly suggest a similar style for your more formal events.
I matched this dress with my favorite light blue stilettos and a blue topaz necklace.
