I always knew I wanted my first international experience to be in Paris, and this week, that dream came true! I flew into France on Saturday with my boyfriend, Forrest, and we haven’t stopped walking since. There’s not a single ugly corner of this city, which is both rare and delightful, but ultimately quite draining for my camera battery. These were all taken on Monday, our first full day; it was dreary outside, but the overcast made for cooler weather and a beautifully smooth, grey backdrop for all of my pigeon photography. Forrest and I ventured to Notre Dame, the lock bridge, the Louvre (just the courtyard), the top of the Eiffel Tower, and various delightful cafés in between. So far, my only complaint is the bizarre lack of lemonade they have in this country; otherwise, I’m all set to move in!
