3 Co-Ord Sets for Spring and Summer
My favorite trend for the spring and summer months is a cute, matching co-ord set. I love how easy they are to wear and put together, and that they show just the right amount of skin. Last week, I ordered three sets from Revolve, and I can't decide which is my favorite!
I really love the way that this set fits. The sleeves on the top fit to my arms really well, which I love since off-the-shoulder tops usually slip off me pretty easily. The skirt is also a wrap-tie waist, so it allows you to make it as tight or as loose as possible (which comes in handy after dinner and dessert, let me just say). It's also accented with pom-poms, which is the cutest thing ever!
I'm usually weird about wearing polka-dots because I think it's so easy for them to look tacky. Back in 2009/2010, almost every middle school dance dress was polka-dotted, and I vowed to steer clear of them pretty much ever since. However, this co-ord set checked every other box on my list (high-waisted, flowy but fitted, etc.), so I decided I had to try it, and I'm so glad I did! Buying a pair of shorts is always such a tricky endeavor, but these fit absolutely true to size (I'm wearing an XS in everything in this post, for reference). The top also has a lining under the ruffle, which makes it fit securely. I love how silky this whole outfit feels, too! I'm glad it was able to change my stance on polkadots (lol sometimes I write the most outrageous sentences).
Yellow is my all-time favorite color, so this was an obvious pick for me! The straps on the top are adjustable, which is great, and I love how the skirt has a long zipper (that might sound like a silly thing to remark on, but short zippers bring so much extra stress to getting dressed)! Gingham is a spring staple for me, as well, so I'm super excited about this piece!
